Beyond Disney - Accommodations

There are numerous advantages and benefits to staying on property at Walt Disney World® Resort, some of which are exclusive to Disney resort guests. Convenience is perhaps one of the most notable advantages to staying on property. But there are a handful of off-property resorts that offer quite impressive deluxe accommodations if you’re looking for something beyond what Disney has to offer. Most are only 10-15 minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort. If your vacation plans include a few days at Universal Orlando® Resort or any of the other non-Disney area theme parks, you might want to consider one of the fabulous off-property resorts for that portion of your vacation itinerary. While it’s difficult for many to imagine, some people choose to stay off property to give themselves a break from the endless Disney theming. This theming is undeniably terrific, but for some it’s a tad overkill and the thought of spending the entire day in the Disney theme parks and then returning to the resort for more of the same is just a bit too much.
