Disney Destiny Adults-Only Experiences

The Disney Destiny has some terrific places for adults to escape, and I especially love the creativity behind its themed lounges! From the ghostly goings-on at Haunted Mansion Parlor to cocktails inspired by Cruella de Vil and the mystical world of Doctor Strange, there's no shortage of imaginative places to enjoy an evening. Add two outstanding adults-only restaurants, a beautiful spa, and a private pool retreat, and there's plenty to keep grown-ups entertained long after the children head off to their Youth Clubs.

Lounges and Nightlife

Several of the ship's most popular lounges are conveniently located together on Deck 3. Haunted Mansion Parlor is a favorite, bringing the legendary Disney attraction to life with its 999 Happy Haunts, ghostly surprises, and wonderfully eerie atmosphere. Just off the Grand Hall, De Vil's is a glamorous piano bar inspired by Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians, with its striking black-and-white décor and creative cocktails. And at The Sanctum, guests enter the mystical world of Doctor Strange, where intriguing details and imaginative drinks make for a fascinating evening.

On Deck 5, Cask & Cannon takes its inspiration from Pirates of the Caribbean, with plundered treasures, rum bottles, jail cell keys, and all sorts of nautical details. It's a lively spot to enjoy a drink, catch a sporting event, and soak up the atmosphere of a pirate tavern.

Quiet Cove Adults-Only Retreat

High on Deck 13, Quiet Cove offers a welcome escape from the ship's busy family areas. There's an infinity pool, comfortable loungers, and a poolside bar, along with Cove Café for specialty coffees, wine, and cocktails. It's a lovely place to spend a relaxing afternoon at sea. 

Adults-Only Dining

One of my favorite lounges aboard the Disney Destiny is The Rose, located on Deck 12 at the entrance to Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, this elegant retreat features plush burgundy velvet seating, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean, and a wonderful selection of cocktails, fine wines, and small plates. It's a beautiful place to enjoy a drink before dinner, although I'd happily spend an entire evening here!

Just beyond The Rose are two of Disney Cruise Line's finest restaurants. Palo Steakhouse combines Northern Italian specialties with premium steaks and sweeping ocean views, and its famous chocolate soufflé is reason enough to make a reservation. Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement offers a sophisticated French fine-dining experience with exceptional cuisine, elegant surroundings, and attentive service. Both are wonderful choices for a special evening at sea.

Senses Spa & Salon

For some serious relaxation, Senses Spa offers everything from massages and facials to acupuncture and other rejuvenating treatments. The Rainforest Room is especially appealing, with heated ergonomic loungers, sensory showers, saunas, steam rooms, dry chambers, and an ice lounge. There's also a dedicated outdoor relaxation area with whirlpool spas and comfortable loungers, a wonderful spot to unwind before or after a treatment.

For an extra indulgence, consider one of the private spa villas, complete with a whirlpool, relaxation lounger, private shower, and two treatment tables. It's a lovely way for couples to enjoy a little pampering together.
