Animal Kingdom Resort Area

The Animal Kingdom Resort Area offers two related but distinct resort experiences: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, often called Jambo House, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. Both overlook private savannas where giraffes, zebras, and other African wildlife roam just beyond the resorts.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is the larger and more dramatic of the two, with its soaring lobby, African art collection, acclaimed restaurants, traditional guest rooms, Club Level accommodations, suites, and villas. Kidani Village is smaller and quieter, with studios and multi-bedroom villas, its own savanna and pool, and Sanaa overlooking the animals.

This is not the area to choose for walking access to the parks or multiple transportation options; buses are the only Disney transportation available. Its appeal is the chance to step away from the activity of the parks and return to a resort experience that feels entirely different from the rest of Walt Disney World.
