Disney Wish—the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line family—is a beauty! On board are stories from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar brought to life like never before. A bronze Cinderella statue presides over the Grand Hall lobby, topped by a dazzling wishing star chandelier that comes to life in wondrous ways throughout the voyage … especially when you step inside for the first time. Every child coming aboard will receive their own wishing wand, which they will use to make the “First Wish” of their vacation during a special boarding celebration. Almost every part of the ship is different from her predecessors, the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, and you’ll be amazed around every corner. Dining is a whole new experience onboard the Wish with the Frozen-themed, theatrical dining experience of Arendelle, Worlds of Marvel featuring “Avengers: Quantum Encounter”, and 1923, evoking the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood. New experiences include AquaMouse, a water adventure into a colorful cartoon world inspired by the famous Mickey Mouse animated shorts; Hero Zone, a futuristic sports arena inspired by The Incredibles; and an upper deck with the family area containing six pools of various depths and sizes, so you can choose which is best suited for your family. And two new Broadway-style live shows, The Little Mermaid and Disney Seas the Adventure.
You’ll find a fantastic Kids Club for ages 3-12 featuring Marvel Super Hero Academy, where kids spring into action and train alongside some of their favorite Marvel characters; Star Wars: Cargo Bay, a first-of-its-kind immersive experience set on board a starship; Fairytale Hall, a classic fairytale setting come to life with special visits from the Disney Princesses and Frozen Queens; Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, where children will get a unique behind-the-scenes peek and discover how Disney magic is made. At Edge, tweens ages 11 to 14 have fun, hang out in what looks like a chic New York City loft. And Vibe caters to teens ages 14 to 17 in a stylish Parisian artists’ loft
Elevated Adult Escapes abound with Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, being the most popular (get yourself on the waitlist as soon as it opens each day to snag a spot for the evening). Other great choices is a Viking-inspired pub, Keg & Compass, the Cinderella-themed Nightingale’s piano bar with its chandelier of pearlescent bubbles and music notes crafted out of shimmering rose gold, and The Bayou, a happening spot with a New Orleans flair.
And three new Beauty and the Beast-inspired adult-exclusive experiences: Palo Steakhouse, an evolution of the Palo restaurant that Disney cruisers already know; Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement with French cuisine and gorgeous ocean views; and The Rose for pre-or post-dinner cocktails located at the entrance to Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Quiet Cove is an adults-only retreat featuring an infinity pool, bar, and poolside lounge perfect for swimming, savoring drinks, and soaking up the sun. And don’t forget about the ultimate retreat, Senses Spa.
