Adults-Only Experiences

One thing I particularly love about Disney Cruise Line is that adults can have just as much fun as the kids! The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy offer wonderful places to escape, whether you're looking for a quiet afternoon by the pool, a little pampering at the spa, or a fabulous cocktail before dinner.

And when the sun goes down, there's plenty more to enjoy. Both ships have beautifully themed lounges, intimate cocktail bars, and lively entertainment venues. One of my personal favorites is Meridian, located between Palo and Remy, where you can enjoy a cocktail and beautiful ocean views before or after dinner.

Bars and Lounges

Whether you're in the mood for a quiet cocktail, a glass of Champagne, or an evening of music and dancing, the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy offer wonderful places to enjoy some adult time. Each ship has its own collection of beautifully themed lounges, along with several favorites you'll find aboard both.

Meridian — Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy

One of my favorite spots aboard either ship, Meridian is an elegant lounge tucked between Palo and Remy on Deck 12. With rich furnishings, a sophisticated atmosphere, and a beautiful outdoor terrace, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner. I particularly love stepping outside to take in the ocean views, especially around sunset.

Pink — Disney Dream

Inspired by the bubbles in a glass of Champagne, Pink is a delightful little lounge with sparkling pink accents, whimsical details, and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. It's one of the prettiest spots aboard the Disney Dream for a glass of bubbly or a celebratory cocktail.

Ooh La La — Disney Fantasy

The Disney Fantasy's glamorous Champagne bar, Ooh La La, takes its inspiration from an elegant French boudoir. With plush furnishings, sparkling chandeliers, and beautiful decorative details, it's a lovely setting for Champagne, cocktails, and a little conversation.

Skyline — Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy

Skyline is a clever cocktail lounge where the view changes without you ever leaving your seat! Floor-to-ceiling screens display illuminated skylines from famous cities around the world, creating the illusion that you're enjoying an evening in a different destination. It's a fun concept, particularly when paired with one of the lounge's specialty cocktails.

The District and Europa

The Disney Dream's entertainment district, The District, and the Disney Fantasy's Europa offer a collection of lounges and nightlife venues, each with its own personality. You'll find everything from relaxed pubs and intimate cocktail bars to livelier spots featuring music, dancing, and evening entertainment. They're fun places to explore after dinner, especially when you're in the mood for something a little more energetic.

Cove Café and Outdoor Bars

For a quieter experience, Cove Café is a lovely adults-only retreat for specialty coffees and a little relaxation. Both ships also have outdoor bars near their adults-only pool areas, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink without leaving your lounge chair. Bon Voyage, located near the atrium, is another convenient spot to stop for a cocktail before dinner.

Quiet Cove Pool

When you're ready for a break from the family pool areas, Quiet Cove is a wonderful adults-only retreat aboard both the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. With comfortable loungers, whirlpool spas, and a poolside bar, it's a lovely place to relax with a book, enjoy a cocktail, or simply watch the ocean go by. Cove Café is nearby when you're in the mood for a specialty coffee.

Satellite Falls — Disney Fantasy

One of my favorite little retreats aboard the Disney Fantasy is Satellite Falls, an adults-only sun deck featuring a circular splash pool with a gentle waterfall. It's a quieter alternative to the main pool areas, with comfortable loungers and beautiful ocean views. A particularly nice spot to escape on a sunny afternoon!

Senses Spa & Salon

For a little pampering, Senses Spa & Salon offers everything from massages and facials to body treatments and salon services. One of its most appealing features is the Rainforest Room, with heated loungers, aromatherapy showers, and steam rooms designed for relaxation. You can also reserve private spa villas for an especially indulgent experience. It's a wonderful way to spend a few hours at sea, particularly on a relaxing sea day.

Beverage Tastings

One of the more enjoyable adults-only activities aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy is the wonderful variety of beverage tastings offered throughout the cruise. Depending on your sailing, you might find Champagne, wine, bourbon, whiskey, tequila, rum, martini, or mixology classes, all led by knowledgeable bartenders and beverage specialists. Some are more educational, while others are a fun way to sample something new and maybe discover a new favorite!

These intimate sessions are especially popular on sea days and are a great way to spend an hour with your spouse or friends. There's an additional charge, and reservations are recommended, as the more popular tastings can fill up quickly.
