Disney Wish Adults-Only Experiences

The Disney Wish offers wonderful places for adults to escape, whether you're in the mood for a quiet afternoon by the pool, cocktails with ocean views, or a little spa pampering. Unlike other Disney ships, where most adult lounges and nightclubs are grouped in a dedicated district, the Wish spreads them primarily across Decks 3 and 5. Personally, I prefer having everything in one district, but this arrangement does give each lounge its own distinct atmosphere.

Lounges and Nightlife

On Deck 3, you'll find three lounges close together, starting with the popular Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. Inspired by the luxurious starcruisers of the Star Wars universe, this futuristic lounge features a massive viewport where you can watch the stars drift past as the ship makes hyperspace jumps to different planets. The themed cocktails and immersive surroundings make it a fun stop, particularly for Star Wars fans. Nearby, Nightingale's is an elegant piano bar inspired by Cinderella's rendition of “Sing Sweet Nightingale,” complete with a striking chandelier of pearlescent bubbles and musical notes. The Bayou, inspired by The Princess and the Frog, is a lively gathering place beneath a canopy of magnolia blossoms and twinkling fireflies, serving Louisiana-inspired cocktails, specialty coffees, and beignets, with live music adding to the atmosphere.

On Deck 5, Keg & Compass feels like an old Norwegian sailor's map room, with nautical details, comfortable seating, and TVs showing live sports and major events. It's a great place to settle in with a beer or cocktail, and I particularly enjoy the fish and chips.

My favorite lounge aboard the Disney Wish, though, is The Rose on Deck 12. Located just outside Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, this gorgeous Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge features plush burgundy velvet seating, beautiful floor-to-ceiling ocean views, and an impressive selection of wines, cocktails, and premium spirits. It's a particularly lovely spot for a pre-dinner drink.

Quiet Cove Adults-Only Retreat

High on Deck 13, Quiet Cove offers a peaceful escape from the activity around the family pools. It features an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a poolside bar, and comfortable spots to relax in the sun. I especially enjoy stopping by Cove Café for a specialty coffee or a glass of wine. The adults-only area is smaller than on some other Disney ships, but it's still a welcome retreat when you want a little quiet time.

Adults-Only Dining

Two of the ship's most exceptional restaurants are reserved exclusively for adults. Palo Steakhouse combines authentic Italian cuisine with a modern steakhouse menu, and thankfully, the famous Palo chocolate soufflé is still available! Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement offers an exquisite French fine-dining experience in one of the most beautiful restaurants at sea. Both are wonderful choices for a special evening. 

Senses Spa & Salon

For a truly relaxing afternoon, Senses Spa is one of the Disney Wish's highlights. One feature I particularly love is the outdoor relaxation area, a first for Disney Cruise Line when the ship debuted, with whirlpool spas and comfortable loungers in a beautiful open-air setting. The Rainforest Room, available for an additional charge, offers heated ergonomic loungers, sensory spa showers, a sauna, steam and dry chambers, and even an ice lounge. There's also an extensive selection of massages, facials, and other treatments, along with luxurious private spa villas featuring heated whirlpools, relaxation loungers, private showers, and two treatment tables. It's well worth setting aside some time here during your cruise.
