Accommodations

Disneyland® Resort offers three hotel choices: Disney’s Grand Californian® Hotel & Spa, Disneyland® Hotel, and Pixar Place® Hotel. For this luxury guide, we will only be reviewing Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disneyland Hotel. While both are super convenient to the theme parks, with only Downtown Disney separating the two resorts, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is the closest. However, there’s only perhaps a 10-minute difference in stroll time.

When choosing your resort accommodations, consider whether a standard guest room is all you’ll need; you may want to think about concierge level or perhaps a suite. Suites at both hotels come in various sizes, some as large as 2,000 or more square feet and certainly the most extravagant option. Of course, budget, together with how much time you plan to spend in your room, are significant considerations and will play a large part in your decision.

If hanging out at your resort for part of the day sounds appealing, concierge rooms are a smart idea. These accommodations come with the use of a private lounge offering complimentary continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day, before-dinner hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and late-evening cordials and desserts. These amenities are in addition to private check-in and checkout and the assistance of a concierge staff ready to help you with dining reservations or anything else within their power, a nice plus to your vacation.
