Inspired by the golden age of stage magic, the bar tells the story of a gathering place for famous magicians, illusionists, and their glamorous assistants who mysteriously vanished one evening, leaving behind their secrets and magical memorabilia.

The atmosphere is wonderfully theatrical, with rich red walls, vintage posters, ornate mirrors, velvet furnishings, and an intriguing collection of props and curiosities. Look closely and you'll discover all sorts of clever details, some of which may not be quite what they seem. It's an intimate, slightly mysterious setting that feels perfectly suited to the nostalgic charm of Disney's BoardWalk.

The cocktail menu continues the magical theme, with creatively named drinks and imaginative presentations. Classic cocktails, wines, and beers are also available, making this an appealing stop whether you're interested in the elaborate backstory or simply appreciate a well-made drink.

Ale & Compass Lounge captures the relaxed elegance of a traditional New England yacht club, with rich wood furnishings, comfortable leather seating, and nautical details that complement the resort's maritime theme. Located just off the Yacht Club's lobby, it's an inviting spot for a cocktail before dinner or a leisurely evening enjoying the atmosphere of this beautiful waterfront resort.

The lounge offers a selection of specialty cocktails, wines, and craft beers, along with a tempting menu of small plates and casual fare. The food features contemporary American favorites with a New England influence, making it a great choice when you want to sample a few dishes rather than sit down for a full restaurant meal. The comfortable surroundings and understated atmosphere add to its charm, without the elaborate theming found at some of Disney's other lounges.

Cara’s Tip: The Beak and Barrel is more about the experience than a substantial meal. Plan to enjoy the atmosphere, entertainment, and a drink or two rather than treating it as a dining destination. It's a particularly fun choice for families who love Pirates of the Caribbean.

Perched on the 17th floor of Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Capa Bar offers one of the most spectacular settings for cocktails at Walt Disney World. The stylish lounge adjoins the resort's Michelin-starred Capa steakhouse, with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terraces overlooking the resort's lush grounds, lakes, and surrounding Disney property. The atmosphere is contemporary and sophisticated, with a distinctly Spanish influence.

The bar offers a compelling selection of creative cocktails, Spanish wines, and tapas, making it a great spot for drinks and a few small plates before dinner or an evening spent enjoying the views. The outdoor terraces are particularly inviting at sunset, when the view stretches out in every direction, and the lights of Walt Disney World begin to appear in the distance.

Cara’s Tip: Time your visit to enjoy the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT fireworks from the rooftop terrace. With a cocktail in hand and panoramic views of the nighttime skies, it's one of the most memorable ways to end an evening at Walt Disney World.

Just next door to Yachtsman Steakhouse, Crew's Cup Lounge is one of those inviting little spots that feels perfectly at home in Disney's Yacht Club Resort. With its rich wood furnishings, warm lighting, and rowing memorabilia, the lounge has the comfortable atmosphere of a traditional New England boating club. It has a more intimate, traditional pub atmosphere than the nearby Ale & Compass Lounge, with plenty of character and a welcoming neighborhood-bar feel.

The menu features a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, along with a tempting assortment of small plates and casual favorites. It's an appealing option for a drink and something to eat without committing to a full steakhouse dinner, particularly if you're staying at one of the resorts around Crescent Lake.

Cara’s Tip: Crew's Cup is a great alternative when you're craving a little of the Yachtsman Steakhouse experience without sitting down for a full dinner. Check the lounge menu for steakhouse-inspired dishes, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this longtime Yacht Club favorite.

Stylish rooftop lounge featuring Spanish-inspired cocktails, wines, and small plates at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

Perched atop the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Dahlia Lounge is one of Walt Disney World's most striking rooftop bars. Inspired by Spanish surrealism and the works of Salvador Dalí, the lounge combines contemporary furnishings, dramatic lighting, and artistic details with sweeping views across Walt Disney World. The sophisticated interior opens onto an outdoor terrace, where the panoramic views are especially impressive as evening approaches.

The menu continues the Spanish influence with creative cocktails, Spanish wines, and a selection of tapas and small plates. It's an appealing setting for drinks before dinner at nearby Toledo, or for an evening enjoying the atmosphere and views. 

Cara’s Tip: Arrive around sunset and request a seat on the outdoor terrace. From this vantage point, you can see across much of Walt Disney World, and on evenings when the fireworks are scheduled, you may catch distant views of the nighttime spectaculars. It's worth visiting even if you're not staying at Coronado Springs.

Elegant cocktail lounge inspired by Disney's Beauty and the Beast, featuring specialty cocktails, wines, and small plates at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Enchanted Rose brings fairy-tale romance to Disney's Grand Floridian with a sophisticated design inspired by Beauty and the Beast. This, my favorite Disney lounge, incorporates subtle references throughout its beautifully appointed spaces. A magnificent golden chandelier inspired by Belle's flowing ball gown takes center stage, while rich furnishings, delicate floral details, and touches of French elegance create an atmosphere worthy of the Grand Floridian.

The lounge features several distinct spaces, including an intimate library inspired by Belle's love of books, a garden room reminiscent of the enchanted forest, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the resort grounds. The menu offers creative cocktails, Champagne, wines, and a selection of small plates, making it equally appealing for a pre-dinner drink or an evening enjoying the surroundings.

Cara’s Tip: Take a little time to explore the different rooms before choosing where to sit. My favorite is the main lounge, with its magnificent golden chandelier and glamorous atmosphere. The garden room is another lovely option, while the outdoor terrace is especially appealing on a beautiful Florida evening.

One of EPCOT's most intriguing additions, GEO-82 offers an entirely different perspective on the park's iconic Spaceship Earth. This stylish, adults-only lounge sits inside the famous geodesic sphere, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping views across World Celebration and beyond. The contemporary interior features sleek furnishings, warm lighting, and subtle design details inspired by Spaceship Earth's distinctive architecture.

The menu offers creative takes on classic cocktails, while the food draws on international flavors that reflect EPCOT's celebration of cultures from around the world. It's a sophisticated experience that feels quite different from the park's more traditional dining options.

Cara’s Tip: GEO-82 is exclusively for guests 21 and older, making it one of the few adults-only experiences at Walt Disney World. Reservations are recommended.

Open-air waterfront lounge offering cocktails, craft beers, and casual dining at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill is one of the most appealing waterfront lounges at Walt Disney World, with a beautiful setting along the shores of Bay Lake. Inspired by the rustic architecture of the Pacific Northwest, the open-air pavilion features exposed timber beams, natural stone, and comfortable seating beneath a soaring roof. With views stretching across the lake and the surrounding woodlands, it's a setting that captures the character of Wilderness Lodge perfectly.

The menu offers more than the usual poolside fare, with a selection of hearty sandwiches, burgers, salads, and small plates, along with specialty cocktails, wines, and craft beers. The bison cheeseburger has long been a favorite, while the restaurant's Pacific Northwest influences carry through to other dishes. Whether you're stopping in for a drink or settling down for a casual meal, the combination of good food and beautiful surroundings makes Geyser Point well worth a visit.

Cara’s Tip: Try to arrive around sunset, when the light over Bay Lake is especially lovely. The open-air design makes this one of Disney's most enjoyable waterfront spots, and you don't have to be staying at Wilderness Lodge to appreciate it. If you're visiting after dark, you may even catch the Electrical Water Pageant as it passes along the lake.

The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge brings a little of the glamour of its celebrated namesake restaurant outdoors, with a charming patio overlooking Hollywood Boulevard. Inspired by the legendary Hollywood Brown Derby, the lounge offers a more informal way to enjoy the restaurant's atmosphere, with a front-row seat to the comings and goings of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The menu features classic cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks, along with a selection of small plates and appetizers. It's a particularly appealing spot for a martini or glass of Champagne accompanied by something delicious from the kitchen, and the outdoor setting adds to the fun.

Cara’s Tip: You don't need a reservation at The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant to enjoy its lounge. Seating is limited and generally available on a walk-up basis, so it's worth checking for a table when you're nearby. It's a wonderful way to enjoy a taste of the Brown Derby without committing to the full dining experience.

Adjacent to Tiffins Restaurant, Nomad Lounge celebrates the spirit of travel and exploration that inspired Disney's Animal Kingdom. The beautifully designed interior features warm wood furnishings, colorful textiles, and fascinating details inspired by destinations around the world. Overhead, hundreds of colorful banners display answers to questions about travel and adventure, contributed by Disney Imagineers and guests.

The lounge opens onto a lovely covered terrace overlooking a peaceful waterway, with comfortable seating surrounded by lush tropical foliage. It's one of the most appealing settings in Animal Kingdom, whether you choose a table outside or settle inside.

The menu is every bit as interesting as the surroundings, featuring creative cocktails inspired by international destinations, a thoughtful selection of wines and beers, and an assortment of globally influenced small plates. The famous Tiffins bread service, with its assortment of accompaniments, is a particularly tempting choice, while the lounge's savory bites offer plenty of opportunities to sample flavors from around the world.

Cara’s Tip: My preference is the outdoor terrace, where the tropical surroundings and waterfront views are especially lovely.

Star Wars-themed cantina serving imaginative cocktails and specialty beverages at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Step inside Oga's Cantina and you'll feel as though you've wandered into a lively watering hole on the planet Batuu. Inspired by the cantinas of the Star Wars films, this wonderfully atmospheric establishment is filled with unusual creatures, mysterious artifacts, and an assortment of colorful characters. Behind the bar, bubbling concoctions and curious equipment add to the otherworldly setting, while droid DJ R-3X keeps the music going with an entertaining mix of galactic tunes.

The real attraction here is the atmosphere, although the drinks are certainly part of the fun. The menu features creatively named cocktails, unusual ingredients, and colorful nonalcoholic beverages that are every bit as imaginative as their alcoholic counterparts. Don't expect a substantial meal, however, as the food offerings are limited to a few light snacks. Oga's is all about enjoying a drink and soaking up the lively spirit of a cantina in a galaxy far, far away.

Cara’s Tip: Be prepared to stand. Much of Oga's Cantina is standing room, and guests may be seated or placed at tables with other parties. Visits are generally limited to 45 minutes, so don't plan on lingering all afternoon. Reservations are highly recommended, especially if you're hoping to experience this popular spot during a busy park day.

Open-air waterfront dining featuring Spanish-inspired small plates, casual cuisine, and specialty cocktails at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

Set on an island in the middle of Lago Dorado, Three Bridges Bar & Grill is one of Walt Disney World's loveliest waterfront dining spots. The open-air pavilion features a soaring roof, warm wood furnishings, and comfortable seating, with a design that reflects the resort's Spanish influences.

The menu offers an appealing mix of Spanish-inspired dishes and familiar favorites, with tapas-style small plates, flavorful dips, burgers, and other casual selections. The warm manchego cheese dip is a particularly tempting choice, while the restaurant's signature burger and other heartier dishes make it easy to turn a visit into a full meal. Creative cocktails, sangria, Spanish wines, and craft beers round out the offerings.

Cara’s Tip: Three Bridges is especially beautiful after sunset, when the lights of Gran Destino Tower and the surrounding resort reflect across the water. Arrive a little before dusk to enjoy the changing views.

South Seas-inspired tiki lounge featuring tropical cocktails, exotic décor, and Polynesian-inspired small plates at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is one of Walt Disney World's most entertaining lounges, and certainly one of its most unusual. Inspired by the legendary Trader Sam of Disney's Jungle Cruise attraction, this intimate hideaway is filled with nautical curiosities, mysterious artifacts, and all sorts of treasures supposedly collected during Sam's adventures. Order one of the cleverly themed cocktails, and you might set off a volcanic eruption, a tropical storm, or another unexpected surprise, complete with playful antics from the bartenders. And watch out for the sinking bar stool!

The cocktail menu is filled with imaginative tropical concoctions, many served in elaborate souvenir mugs, along with a selection of Polynesian-inspired appetizers and small plates. Outside, Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace offers a completely different atmosphere, with tropical landscaping, tiki torches, and views toward the resort's lush grounds. It's a lovely setting for enjoying a tropical drink, particularly when live music adds to the island atmosphere.

Cara’s Tip: The indoor Grog Grotto is where you'll find all the special effects and playful antics, so that's my first choice. It's small and extremely popular, and you may face a substantial wait. Join the walk-up list as early as possible and be prepared to return when your table is ready. Guests under 21 are permitted inside only until 8 p.m., after which the Grog Grotto becomes adults-only.

African-inspired lounge serving specialty cocktails, South African wines, and small plates at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House.

Perched on a mezzanine overlooking Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Victoria Falls Lounge is surrounded by the resort's extraordinary African-inspired architecture, with soaring thatched ceilings, massive wooden columns, and beautiful handcrafted details. 

The beverage menu reflects the resort's African influences, with specialty cocktails, an interesting selection of South African wines, and beers. A selection of small plates and appetizers provides something to enjoy alongside your drinks. 

Cara’s Tip: Before or after your visit, take time to explore the magnificent Jambo House lobby and step outside to the savanna viewing areas, where you may spot giraffes, zebras, and other African wildlife. It's one of the experiences that makes a visit to Victoria Falls more than just a stop for a drink.
