The Villas at Disneyland® Hotel

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel are a fabulous addition to the Disneyland Resort accommodations lineup. Celebrating Disney storytelling, the villas pair artwork inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios classics with a contemporary design that feels distinct from the original Disneyland Hotel. Located in a high-rise tower on the Disneyland Hotel property, just steps from the swimming pools, the villas offer everything from cozy studios for two to spacious three-bedroom Grand Villas that sleep up to twelve. With their mid-century modern style and comfortable, upscale accommodations, they remind me a bit of Disney's Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World.

One thing I particularly like about the villas is the beautiful artwork inspired by Disney films, including The Jungle Book, The Princess and the Frog, Sleeping Beauty, Fantasia, Bambi, Frozen, and Moana. The Disney touches are imaginative without overwhelming the rooms, and the different layouts offer plenty of choices for couples and families. The Villas have their own swimming pool, whirlpool spa, and Palm Breeze Bar, and guests can also enjoy the pools and other amenities at the Disneyland Hotel. Accommodations

Studios and Villas

The villas here are elegant and comfortable, with accommodations ranging from super cozy Duo Studios to more spacious Deluxe Studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas. Each has its own personality, with beautiful artwork and clever design features that make the most of the space.

Duo Studios

The one-of-a-kind Duo Studios are designed for just two guests, combining efficiency with a touch of luxury. At only 251 square feet, they're certainly small, but the space is well designed. Inspired by The Jungle Book, the studios have a queen-size Murphy bed that folds away during the day, leaving room for a sofa and occasional chair. There's also a microwave, small refrigerator, and an alcove chaise chair.

For such a compact room, the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, with an oversized shower and a large single-sink vanity. Views include Standard View of the garden, street, or parking area; Preferred View overlooking the pool; and a Deluxe Studio Garden category with a balcony or patio. The Duo Studios are an interesting option for two adults who don't need much room but want to enjoy the amenities of the Disneyland Hotel.

Deluxe Studios

Deluxe Studios are a bit roomier at 368 square feet and accommodate up to four guests. Rooms include a queen bed, a queen-size pull-down bed, and a small kitchenette, plus a private balcony or patio in select categories. The artwork is inspired by either The Princess and the Frog or Sleeping Beauty, with beautiful murals and colorful details that give each studio its own character.

Views include a Standard View of the garden, street, or parking area, and a Preferred View overlooking the swimming pool. The Deluxe Studio Garden category includes a balcony or patio. I particularly like the way Disney has incorporated the storytelling into the furnishings and artwork without making the rooms feel overly themed.

One-Bedroom Villas

One-bedroom villas are a generous 754 square feet and sleep up to five adults. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a queen-size Murphy bed that pulls down over the living room sofa, and a single pull-down bed beneath the oversized television. Above the sofa, a surprise mural inspired by the villa's Disney theme adds one of those delightful details that make these accommodations so much fun. Near the entry hall, a full bathroom with a shower gives guests sleeping in the living room their own bathing area.

The kitchen is a real advantage, particularly for families staying several nights. It has a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and a bench-style dining area. The living room features wood flooring, a comfortable sofa, and an area rug, with access to the villa's balcony.

In the bedroom, a king bed is backed by a beautiful themed mural, with a bureau and desk combination and a small adjoining closet. The primary bathroom is especially attractive, with white marble finishes, double vanities, a backlit mirror, and a wonderful alcove soaking tub surrounded by a glittering tile mural. There's also a separate shower and toilet area. A stacked washer and dryer in the entry hall closet is another welcome convenience, especially for families traveling with children.

Two-Bedroom Villas

A two-bedroom villa combines the spacious living area of a one-bedroom villa with an additional bedroom, often in a connecting Deluxe Studio, although dedicated two-bedroom layouts are also available. These villas offer approximately 1,161 square feet and sleep up to nine adults. The extra bedroom and bathroom are especially useful when several generations travel together, while the full kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer, and separate living room make the accommodations feel more like a vacation home. Both one- and two-bedroom villas overlook the pool and feature artwork inspired by either The Princess and the Frog or Fantasia. Three-Bedroom Grand Villas

The three-bedroom Grand Villas are real showstoppers! At 2,756 square feet, these two-story accommodations sleep up to twelve guests and have some of the most impressive living spaces at Disneyland Resort. The main floor features a spacious kitchen with an island counter seating three, a dining area, and a comfortable living room with a sectional sofa, lounge chairs, media center, and a collection of Disney film-inspired artwork. Soaring two-story windows fill the living area with natural light, while a spectacular double-sided fireplace separates the interior living space from a private outdoor balcony that runs the length of the villa. It's a wonderful setting for spending time together, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

The primary suite is inspired by Bambi, with a king bed and a beautifully appointed bathroom. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms inspired by Frozen and Moana each feature two queen-size beds, a single pull-down bed, their own bathroom, and a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool. With three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, and plenty of living space, these Grand Villas are especially appealing for extended families or groups celebrating a special occasion.
