Magic Kingdom Resort Area

This is the most enchanting area in all of Walt Disney World® Resort with resorts hugging the shoreline of two bodies of water, the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, all accessible by either monorail or water launch to the Magic Kingdom® Park. Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Villas at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows all surround the Seven Seas Lagoon and feature magical views of Cinderella Castle; all connect to one another as well as to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot® (via the Transportation and Ticket Center, or TTC) by monorail. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are not connected by monorail to the Magic Kingdom. However, it is accessible to the park by water launch, with the plus of a pristine setting smack-dab in the middle of a pine forest fronting beautiful Bay Lake.

Those driving for the first time to the Magic Kingdom Resorts may feel confused when the signage seems to be leading straight into the Magic Kingdom parking lot. Drive up to the second turnstile on the right, advise the parking lot attendant that you’re checking in, and he or she will wave you past. Stay to your right and follow the signs to your resort.
